Mind Medium Material
Art is all about perception be it artist or the viewer. Usually an artist makes a work of art and the materiality they use influences the form as well as the content of the artwork.Every material brings something special to the creative process and brings a different vibe and feel to the work. Usually material influences how artists make their work and how people perceive it. The use of different materials brings out warmth and the right emotions to the viewers. If we take away the imagination of the artwork, what we see is the material that made the image exist. The use of different Material can add weight, substance, and authority to every component of the artwork and for this a lot of artists are experimenting with more different mediums. For most of the art forms the underlying intention is to appeal to, and connect with, human emotion. Experimenting with different materials is also an evolving process for an artist to signify their creativity. Here in this show Mind depicts multiple artists and their thought process and how they have used different mediums and materials like paper, resin, canvas, wood, crystal etc to showcase their artwork.
