Harisha Chennangod's art delves into the intricate fabric of cityscapes, childhood memories, and handloom patterns. His visual language is characterized by intersecting lines, spaces, and vibrant primary colors. His series titled "Portrait of Present" serves as a dynamic exploration of cartography, capturing the subtle nuances of life. The lines in his artwork mimic the appearance of interwoven threads on a loom, moving from the center to the periphery where they unravel into frayed edges, symbolizing openness and tranquility.
Renowned artist Vasudevan Akkitham praises the meditative quality of Harisha's artworks, drawing parallels to the layers and depth found in Kabir's poems. The intricate weaving and layering in Harisha's pieces invite viewers to contemplate multiple meanings, creating a rich tapestry of artistic expression.
